Now that I’ve made some homemade Cajun Seasoning, we can get back to cooking spicy foods so I hope we’re all on board with that. The thing I love most about Cajun Seasoning is that it’s spicy but it’s not going to burn your tongue off; there’s actual flavor to it and that’s so important. I can’t stand a dish drenched in spice. I love sweet potatoes for a number of reasons, the first being that they’re so delicious. They’re also incredibly healthy (as far as potatoes go) and because they’re so good, that makes them easy to eat (any enjoy) without putting your health at risk. I recently went to a restaurant that served some sweet potato casserole as a side dish and absolutely loved it so when I was at the market this weekend, I bought a few sweet potatoes to see what I could do with them. What I ended up with was a cakey and delicious cookie:
