Full Moon Bathing Ritual

So I’m really excited for the full moon this month. Maybe it’s because of all the planetary goodness going on right now. We have the planetary parade (five planets are lined up exactly), mercury retrograde, we just moved into a new sign and now we have the full moon. It could also be that I’m in this intense period of releasing things that no longer serve me and I’m really feeling good about life in general. As many of you know, the full moon is a good time to really work on letting things go and continue to release as the moon wanes. So I decided I would take a full moon ritual bath to enhance this energy for myself.

Cauldron Banishing Ritual

Thanks

Now that Samhain has passed, and the moon is waning, it’s a nice time to clear out unwanted people or energies from your life.  This simple all-purpose banishing ritual is quick and easy.

*cauldron or fire safe dish
*matches or lighter
*dried rosemary
*piece of paper (parchment is nice)

Everyone is prepared before entering the dining area to have a meal in total silence. The meal can be … Continue reading Dumb Supper or Silent Supper Part II

Hold a Dumb Supper for Samhain

Thank you for this information

A year ago I was privileged to attend a stunningly visual Samhain ritual written by one of our High Priestesses and performed by all of the initiated High Priestesses.  This made it very special for the 1st and 2nd degree initiates, myself included.  I was asked and happily agreed to host a Dumb Supper following the circle.  Even though most of us understood the symbolism of the supper I decided to write a short “history” to provide some background to the newer members.  I also outlined the “room setup” and “rules” so members would know what to expect and what is expected of them before they entered into the dining room area.  Since the meal is silent… you have to prepare everyone before the meal starts.

History of the Dumb Supper:  While the exact origin of the Dumb Supper is hotly debated the symbolic gesture of honoring those who have passed beyond the…
