The Delta Pearl 70 — Geostrophic

Wonderful chapter Teagan, can't wait to see what Émeraude has gotten herself into!

The Delta Pearl 69 — Sense

This does not sound like a good situation for Émeraude either. So another exciting chapter!

Welcome back, my chuckaboos! I apologize in advance — I am still scarce around the blogosphere while I prepare the next installment of my Amazon serial.  Dead of Winter: Journey 4, The OldRoad will be ready soon.

I literally left Émeraude hanging last time, so let’s step short before somebody tries to batty fang me over this predicament.

All aboard!

Most of my senses were deprived.  My goggles were so spattered by the sooty air that I could barely see.  With my feet swinging in midair, I couldn’t touch the safety of terra firma.  The only thing I could hear was my pounding heart.

One of the straps holding the mask onto my head slipped.  My hold on it gained an additional purpose.  I had been trying to keep…

Welcome back, my chuckaboos! I apologize in advance — I will be scarce around the blogosphere for the rest of this month.  I have a lot of catching up to do on Dead of Winter.

There isn’t much preamble today, I barely made it to the river as it is. However, I do have a random reader thing.  It’s from John W. Howell.  Several weeks ago he suggested insufficient fuel.  How could I possibly pass that up?

I threatened another cliffhanger, so hang on tight.

All aboard!

Sooty air left specks on the goggles of my breathing apparatus.  Although that didn’t make much difference.  I had flown up into the brown cloud.  It prevented me seeing anything, even if the goggles had been clean.

The kite-like wings welded onto…

Yes, I know St. Patrick’s Day is over.  I just enjoyed the thought of this lovely tabby in that soft cushion of clover, and I had to use the image again.  Don’t worry.  The steampunk riverboat is here, my chuckaboos!

Last time we got a glimpse of an injured Blue John Boulton.  He was up there somewhere inside that sooty cloud that’s been following the riverboat around. That’s about all we could tell from the limited perspective offered by Victor’s telectroscope.  I’m sure there has to be something housing the few pieces of furniture, the clockwork creatures, and Blue. Just what that might be remains to be seen.  Whatever those confines are, something seemed to be chasing the Mate.  The only clue we got from him before he ran out of view was questionable. It might have been “tune” of possibly…

The steampunk riverboat is back, my chuckaboos! I’m working hard to get the third monthly installment of Dead of Winter, my Amazon serial of novelettes, ready for publication.  So, let’s step short and get right to it.

The “unofficial tech guy” at Teagan’s Books is Dan AntionEvery now and then I ask him a question, or throw an idea at him for feedback. He’s a good sport about it.  While Dan was not the reader to leave telectroscope as a “random thing,” he added one of his own, months later when I was bouncing the “optical telephone” around to keep it in this story. The new thing Dan provided is transceiver.

Last time I did a recap post with a whole passel of links. Click the back arrow at the bottom of the post for that. Now, shall we?

All aboard!
