The steampunk riverboat is back, my chuckaboos! I’m working hard to get the third monthly installment of Dead of Winter, my Amazon serial of novelettes, ready for publication.  So, let’s step short and get right to it.

The “unofficial tech guy” at Teagan’s Books is Dan AntionEvery now and then I ask him a question, or throw an idea at him for feedback. He’s a good sport about it.  While Dan was not the reader to leave telectroscope as a “random thing,” he added one of his own, months later when I was bouncing the “optical telephone” around to keep it in this story. The new thing Dan provided is transceiver.

Last time I did a recap post with a whole passel of links. Click the back arrow at the bottom of the post for that. Now, shall we?

All aboard!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

With the Victorians, terms of endearment flowed freely.  A dear friend was a chuckaboo — and that’s what all of you are to me.  Valentine’s Day can be traced to ancient Rome, but it was the Victorians who originally put a romantic spin on the holiday.

Some people love flowers on Valentine’s, others opt for chocolate… but as far as this author is concerned, the very best Valentine of all is a great review.  Pat over at eQuipsposted a lovely review for Dead of Winter: Journey 2, Penllyn.  Click here and read Pat’s review.

Now to the regular weekend feature, my chuckaboos!  I’m here with an all new episode of the #steampunk riverboat serial, The Delta Pearl.  This time the “random reader thing” is from Priscilla Bettis.  She gave us something suitably delicious…

Welcome back, my chuckaboos!  To those who celebrate, I hope you had a joyous Christmas.  I appreciate everyone who spends part of the holiday weekend here.  I realize most readers are busy this weekend, but for those who are here, I wanted to be sure and include at least a small episode of The Delta Pearl.

Winter is coming! Or it has been coming for a decade, and now it’s almost here.  “Journey 1” of Dead of Winter will launch next weekend!  You’ll find a character interview with the young heroine of the story if you click the “back arrow” at the bottom of this post.

Random Reader Things

Today’s random reader thing is from Mary J, inspired by her cat, Gibbs.  I certainly could not resist the feline demand…

Welcome back, my chuckaboos!  The moment of the winter solstice draws near.  Yes winter is coming!  It’s down to the wire for getting “Journey 1” of Dead of Winter ready for publication.  If anyone is interested in helping, I’d greatly appreciate any reblog of the launch post, or any other way you want to help me share.  Sorry, no exact date yet for when it will be released.

That said, this is a very short episode of The Delta Pearl.  If you missed the riverboat last weekend, here’s the link to the previous chapter.

Random Reader Things

Onomatopoeic is this chapter’s random reader thing.  It’s from Pat at e-Quips.
