Image tomfoolery by Teagan
Yes, I know St. Patrick’s Day is over. I just enjoyed the thought of this lovely tabby in that soft cushion of clover, and I had to use the image again. Don’t worry. The steampunk riverboat is here, my chuckaboos!
Last time we got a glimpse of an injured Blue John Boulton. He was up there somewhere inside that sooty cloud that’s been following the riverboat around. That’s about all we could tell from the limited perspective offered by Victor’s telectroscope. I’m sure there has to be something housing the few pieces of furniture, the clockwork creatures, and Blue. Just what that might be remains to be seen. Whatever those confines are, something seemed to be chasing the Mate. The only clue we got from him before he ran out of view was questionable. It might have been “tune” of possibly…

Dead of Winter: Journey 3, The Fever Field
You know what they say about “the best laid plans of mice and (wo)men…” I wanted to announce “Dead of Winter: Journey 3, The Fever Field” and schedule the post for my usual Wednesday slot at midnight Eastern Time. Unfortunately, my life has been ruled by Murphy’s Law this week, and Amazon publishing, and slow Internet were Murphy’s allies.
Happily, the multi-talented author, Roberta Eaton Cheadle has helped me out by adding the cover reveal and the Kindle purchase link for Journey 3 to her amazing review of Journey 2!

Journey 2, Penllyn is the second episode in the Dead of Winter serial. You can read my review of review of Journey 1 Forlorn Peak here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1A6T1JDOEV3H3. Now, on to my review of Journey 2, Penllyn! What Amazon says…

The Delta Pearl 65 — Connect
Awesome chapter! Lots of questions can’t wait for the answers!
Saturday, February 27, 2021
The steampunk riverboat is back, my chuckaboos! I’m working hard to get the third monthly installment of Dead of Winter, my Amazon serial of novelettes, ready for publication. So, let’s step short and get right to it.
The “unofficial tech guy” at Teagan’s Books is Dan Antion. Every now and then I ask him a question, or throw an idea at him for feedback. He’s a good sport about it. While Dan was not the reader to leave telectroscope as a “random thing,” he added one of his own, months later when I was bouncing the “optical telephone” around to keep it in this story. The new thing Dan provided is transceiver.
Last time I did a recap post with a whole passel of links. Click the back arrow at the bottom of the post for that. Now, shall we?
All aboard!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Composite Image by Teagan Geneviene
With the Victorians, terms of endearment flowed freely. A dear friend was a chuckaboo — and that’s what all of you are to me. Valentine’s Day can be traced to ancient Rome, but it was the Victorians who originally put a romantic spin on the holiday.
Some people love flowers on Valentine’s, others opt for chocolate… but as far as this author is concerned, the very best Valentine of all is a great review. Pat over at eQuipsposted a lovely review for Dead of Winter: Journey 2, Penllyn. Click here and read Pat’s review.
Now to the regular weekend feature, my chuckaboos! I’m here with an all new episode of the #steampunk riverboat serial, The Delta Pearl. This time the “random reader thing” is from Priscilla Bettis. She gave us something suitably delicious…
