Cardamom is a flavoursome spice that is often added to chai, and in Indian cooking, biscuits and shortbread are often made with the spice too.
Cardamom biscuits or cookies can be enjoyed with a cup of tea or masala chai. The recipe below uses freshly ground cardamom (you can also use cardamom powder), butter, sugar, egg and self-raising flour.
