The Delta Pearl, 14 — Drink, & an Announcement

Lovely episode Teagan, I believe I will have some tea myself.

The Delta Pearl, 13 — Agitate

Great chapter, not fond of leeches. A black cloud that sounds like trouble.

Hello, my chuckaboos!  Happy November.  I’m so glad you came back to the The Delta Pearl.

This week’s random reader things

That conversation was a few weeks ago. In this chapter I finally worked my way to that.

There are also random reader “things” to fuel this voyage of the steampunk riverboat.  First we have Rum from Resa McConaghy.  Then we have Chicanery, which could only be supplied by John W. Howell!  Finally, a tasty Apple Pie from Dan Antion.  Can you…

The steampunk riverboat is here.  Hello, my chuckaboos!  Thanks for coming back to the The Delta Pearl.  Based on my own experiences the past two weeks (and more), I know it might have been difficult for you to get here.

I hope everyone is still onboard, despite the wide-spread difficulties WordPress is causing many of us. Their denial of accountability has gotten as bad as my horrible Internet “provider” TDS Telecom… (Provider is in quotes because I don’t have Internet more often than I actually do.)  Now WordPress is making it hugely difficult for me to interact with any of you with comments or simple likes.  At this moment in time, I’m so frustrated with WordPress that I don’t know if I can keep blogging.  I am sorry that I haven’t been able to visit as many of you…

The steampunk riverboat is here.  Hello, my chuckaboos!  Thanks for coming back to the The Delta Pearl. It’s been a busy week. Are you ready to sink into the soft cushions of imagination and let the river gently take you to extraordinary places?

This week’s random reader things

This steampunk riverboat runs on random “things” from readers. Resa McConaghy provided Tempest Prognosticator.  (What’s that and how does it work? Click to find out.) Across the miles in Ireland, Inese sent Mahogany.  She doesn’t have a blog, but Ginger still gave us a thing from Murphy’s LawWhalebone Corset.

Thanks to Dan Antion  for letting me use some of his photos.   Any of you #steampunk fans who like real life trains will enjoy his latest Thursday Doors post.  Be sure to visit Dan at
