The majority of today is spent with the Moon in chatty Gemini. Use this energy, which still has the New Moon in Aries to push you forward, to devote some time to whatever your passion is at the moment. This is a good day to take action on matters you need to begin before the impending retrogrades.

Be sure to give some thought to these actions you wish to take. While a new adventure can always be wonderful, the Knight of Wands can indicate relying a little toomuch on impulse and not enough on practicality. If you have been giving this idea of yours some rational thought, then go ahead and take the leap.

Here in the USA, this week heralds opening day in the sport of baseball. So how appropriate is the Ace of Wands from the Peanuts Tarot; the entire Wands suit is baseball bats in this deck, and if you are familiar with the game, then numerous metaphors may start rolling through your head.

Aces represent gifts from the Universe and the fire of the Wands offers up a creative new beginning. You may be working on a new approach to an old issue, or even a brand new beginningbasically from scratch, which is wonderful. Just as in baseball, it is important to know when to swing; to swing wildly will result in a loss and to not swing at all certainly does not provide an opportunity to win at the game. So, set your sights on your target and wait for the proper moment. Then swing!
