Hwyl Llandeilo Lit Fest Programme Update

The programme of the Llandeilo Lit Fest – or Hwyl Llen Llandeilo in Welsh – is taking shape.To keep you up-to-date about the exciting programme, here are some highlights from our planned schedule and pictures of our participants.image001-1

Several venues around town have been hired for April 27th – 30th 2017 for a three day festival, with events ranging from writing work shops, poetry readings, author panels, readings, a book treasure hunt, a book fair and music events to round up the programme.

Highlights of the festival programme so far include

  • local artist and celebrity Kate Glanville meets Brenda Squires, winner of the Romantic Novelists Association’s New Writers Award to compare notes about their acclaimed novels
  • Local writer Sally Spedding meets Thorne Moore and Cheryl Reese-Price to talk about their dark Welsh thrillers
  • Welsh artists such as  Sion Tomos Owen, Karla Brading, Nuria Otte, Jen Jones and Lisa Fearne will present…
