Hello, my chuckaboos! Welcome back to the #steampunk riverboat, The Delta Pearl.
I was pressed for time this week, so let’s get right to it.
G. P. Cox gave us a thing that was a name, Sir Reginald La Felin. That actually continues last week’s thing from D. L. (Denise) Finn a Black Cat. Mary J. McCoy-Dressel added Smokestacks to the setting. Then Deborah M. Zajac gave us Jelly Babies — yes they were around in the Victorian Era! Doctor Who would be envious.

Welcome to Jazz Age Wednesdays and a double cover reveal!
That’s right not just one, but two covers — both for Roaring Twenties books.
I’ve brought along a couple of 1920s musicians to liven up this celebration.
I love making book covers and promo images. Today I’m double excited to reveal two of the designs I’ve created for my upcoming books.
First, and most importantly, the third book in my Roaring Twenties series will launch this autumn. It continues the adventures about the flapper, Pip and her friends. Here’s the cover for A Ghost in the Kitchen.

“Brother Love – a Crossroad” is a mysterious “Twilight Zone-ish” short novella. It was inspired by the combination of Neil Diamond’s song and the blues legends of Robert Johnson and the Devil at the Crossroads. As in the real world, things in this tale are not what they seem. The setting is rural Mississippi in the 1950s. A group of outcasts are in a small southern town. They don’t realize they are looking for something. Will they find it?
I am a big fan of Teagan Geneviene’s books as I find her stories to be highly entertaining and imaginative and, despite containing elements of the mystical and supernatural, to be believable and seem quite possible. I also find the author’s characters to be interesting and colourful and I enjoy the way she uses their actions, emotions and dialogues to weave her stories in a natural…
