The weather is warming up, we have even had a taste of rain.  I think the decision is final… we will have no more snow.  We only have a few more weeks of school left, and that is a blessing.  I am counting the days…  Once I get out, the first thing we will do is go to the gardens.  I have been dying to get back there and see all the beauty.

Today I share with you more photos from the gardens.  These were taken some time last year.  They still enchant me, after all this time.  I hope they lend you a smile.

Blumen Baden~

Baden-Baden’s spring bloom is just beginning.

The tulips on the Lichtenthaler Alle,

a strolling avenue and park,

that follows the River Oos,

are beginning their splendid spring bloom.

The park,

created in the 19th century,

is a wonderland of exotic plants and flowers.

Cheers to you from Baden-Baden’s glorious alle~

Beautiful!

Today the sun is shining, the azure sky is peeking beneath puffy white clouds.  I could not ask for more….  Okay, I would love if the kiddos weren’t sick and we are stuck indoors, but I’ll take a blue sky seen out the window over a gray sky any day!  The weather is warming up.  It is a curious time, because often it is warm enough during the day to run the air conditioner, but cold enough at night to require a heater.  I am absolutely thrilled at the warmer weather though!

I hope all of you have beautiful skies to greet you today and I hope you find a little sunshine in your heart (if you have it in higher doses, even better)!  Here are some more photographs of the time we visited the gardens in the beginning of spring.  I hope they bring as much joy to you…

It is so fitting that I share these images today.  It gets right to the heart of why I take them, because any time I like I can just open them and be transported to spring.  It is fitting, because as I predicted it snowed last night.  Our tree outside looks gloriously vibrant, however, despite the snow so that is a good thing.  I do not know, however, how the flowering trees have fared at the gardens and can only hope they are just as resilient.  We have had wind and some snow, but fortunately we did not have hail like last year.

So, for those of you already in spring – let us celebrate her beauty.  For those of you (like me) stuck in less appealing weather, let us celebrate her anyway 🙂  I hope you enjoy!
