pumpkinIt’s Fall and the pumpkins are in full swing. I did what I do every year which is buy the biggest, baddest pumpkin when I catch a good sale. There’s usually one or two recipes that I want to try that require like a cup total of pumpkin. But I go big! Plus I hate the idea of buying canned pumpkin; canned anything really. Those cans are loaded with preservatives and God only knows how long that stuff sits on a shelf or in a warehouse. So I buy the whole pumpkin and then are forced to find creative ways to use it. For the first year, that seems like good news because I will be featuring various pumpkin recipes and DIYs over the next couple of weeks.
