Blue Forest: Making sustainable treehouse living a reality

Tree house living is a dream for some, and brothers Simon and Andy Payne are the guys making that a reality with their wonderful and magical treehouses.

Since forming their business, Blue Forest, in 2003, the brothers have been behind the design and construction of magical treehouses, sustainable buildings, and eco classrooms around the world.

Among some of their wonderful constructions include The Magic Home, an enchanting family treehouse which resembles an annexe of a castle with its turret roof line, and the Fibonacci inspired treehouse, a stylish and contemporary treehouse with a a range of exciting features around it including slides, rope bridges, trapdoors and fireman poles.

The idea for their sustainable treehouse business goes way back when the brothers, who grew up in Kenya, spent a great deal of time constructing zip wires, jungle swings and rudimentary tree-top homes.
