Epic Retreats: Happy glamping in pop-up hotels in Wales, the Land of Legends

Have a legendary glamping holiday this year in the Land of Legends as Wales celebrates with a series of pop-up hotels offering holidaymakers a unique experience steeped in magic, mysticism and folklore.

The pop-up hotels or travel pods have just finished a month-long stint in Wales’ rugged mountain region of Snowdonia. From 10 July to 11 September, the new home for the eight glamping units is a hidden golden beach, set along the stunning Llŷn Peninsula with panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountain range across the sea.

The project, Epic Retreats, is a partnership between Best of Wales, Cambria Tours and George + Tomos Architects, with each of the eight bespoke cabins designed specifically for the project using sustainable and locally-sourced materials.
