Blue Lab Beats, the twosome behind some of the freshest beats, melodies and multi-instrumentals with a hip hop/soul/jazz vibe, play their first headline gig at Jazz re:freshed tomorrow night.

The North London-based production duo, Blue Lab Beats – who have produced remixes for the likes of Jodie Abacus, Dua Lipa and Rag’n’Bone Man, and collaborated and worked with the likes of The Age Of L.U.N.A, songstress Ruby Francis and Otha Soul rapper Louis VI – released their debut EP, Blue Skies, last year.

Largely instrumental, Blue Skies EP is a four-track feel good introduction to Blue Lab Beats whose influences are far and wide – from grime artists Kano and Wiley, hip hop hall of famers Public Enemy, through to jazz legend Oscar Peterson.
