Welcome back, my chuckaboos! To those who celebrate, I hope you had a joyous Christmas. I appreciate everyone who spends part of the holiday weekend here. I realize most readers are busy this weekend, but for those who are here, I wanted to be sure and include at least a small episode of The Delta Pearl.

Welcome back, my chuckaboos! The moment of the winter solstice draws near. Yes winter is coming! It’s down to the wire for getting “Journey 1” of Dead of Winter ready for publication. Welcome back to the steampunk riverboat, my chuckaboos! I hope all of you are staying safe and well. I invite you into my sanctuary, a place free of politics, religion, self-righteousness, and all the things that bring judgement with them.
Many of you know that I deal with the effects of PTSD (anxiety, agoraphobia, and whatever else pops in) day-to-day, minute-to-minute. Yesterday I read something that “triggered” me in a huge way. The ending was a huge sucker-punch, at least for me. That’s on me, not the writer of the piece. I take accountability for my personal shortcomings.
