A few days ago, we managed to get out to the gardens… well, half of our crew did.  I was so excited to get out there, but was sadly disappointed.  First of all, as we got nearer the gardens, the clouds grew dark and it started to rain.  Then came the thunder.  I figured we were already on the other side of town so I really didn’t want to go back home.  I’m trying to hide out from being stuck in the house since we are done with school.  Yes, that means I’m desperate.

I decided to stop at the store to get a writing journal for my daughter and me to use at the gardens.  They have several places where you can sit and write, if the mood strikes.  We had an umbrella, so I wasn’t afraid of the rain.  Imagine my surprise that we spent so much time…
