Laughter, they say, is the best medicine.  So, wouldn’t be even better when something makes you snort?

I write all sorts of stories.  I’ve been told that I do some genre mash-ups.  However, there’s one thing you can count on with my stories — whimsy.  In the universe of Atonement, Tennessee, maybe in any of my story-verses, the most whimsical volume is The Glowing Pigs — Snort Stories of Atonement, Tennessee.

Pigs collection cover bannerIt’s been hard for me to keep my spirits up during this pandemic.  I know I’m certainly not the only one.  Everybody could use a little “snort.”  So, this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday only, the Kindle version of this collection of short stories is free!

Dyanna Wyndesong gave the collection this wonderful review.  It made spirits soar for Deme and Honeybell — and especially…

Don’t look at your calendar, my chuckaboos. You’re right, this is not Wednesday.  I couldn’t wait to let you know that I have a new novelette.  With your encouragement, I finished the story I told you about last week

I even made a video trailer for this whimsical steampunk-Victorian tale.

People in the Steam Era sent valentines to friends as well as family and lovers.  The darn things cost a small fortune these days.  How often do you see a charming valentine for just 99 cents?  Not to mention that this valentine includes more than an hour of fun (depending on how fast you read).  As of this writing, Amazon has not yet released the paperback, but the Kindle version is ready.   Universal link to e-book.  Or try https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084NZFZ14?tag=relinks-20

Teagan Riordain Geneviene

Teagan Geneviene has a fabulous and fun blog, Teagan’s Books, where she shares interesting posts including her innovative “three things” stories in a serial format. Teagan is visiting me today to share a bit about her latest non-fiction book, Speak Flapper – Slang of the 1920s, and the three other books in her “Three Things” stories about flapper, Pip, and her friends.

Over to Teagan

Hi Robbie. Thanks so much for letting me visit your blog.

Many of your stories are written in the “pantser” way, Teagan. Could you tell my readers about that?

I’d love to, Robbie. A Ghost in the Kitchen – Three Ingredients 2 originally appeared on my blog, Teagan’s Books. As with the first two serials, The Three Things Serial Story, and Murder at the Bijou ― Three Ingredients 1, it was a spontaneously written, “by the seat of your pants” ( or pantser) tale.
