I just got back from Hawaii where the sun was incredibly powerful. In one afternoon at the beach wearing SPF 20, I still managed to get a burn on my face! Now, a few days later, my skin feels dry and tight and my forehead is peeling – not cute!!

Rather than making a trip to Shoppers Drugmart I took to the Internet to research natural ingredients to make my own face scrub at home.

I used four simple ingredients that were readily available in my pantry and fridge and whipped something together – the result left my skin feeling fresh, soft, and rejuvenated and it smelled amazing!

What you need:

• 1/2 ruby red grapefruit
• 2 tbsp organic coconut oil
• 2 tbsp coffee grounds
• 4-5 tbsp sugar
