My husband and I absolutely love candles – we literally have a collection at home. So we tried making one ourselves one day and researched how to do so. Our first candle came out great however the scent was not strong enough and the wax melted down very unevenly in the middle once we lit it up. Any suggestions? Btw – great read!

The method on this infograph ticks all the buttons for making your own candles. I can suggest that you buy fragrance oils that are for candle making and be sure that the wick you choose is large enough for the size candle that you are making. If when scenting the wax you get a scent that is “just right” go ahead and add a bit more because just right in the wax is going to bring a fainter scent when you burn it.
