I don’t get to Astoria very often and seeing this makes me want to go there again. It’s such a wonderful cultural melange, the people, the food it’s sensory overload in a very good way, sadly this is all disappearing whether Queens, Brooklyn or Manhattan.

It is, NYC used to have neighborhoods that reflected individual cultures but now not so much except China Town which is actually getting bigger. It has taken over most of Little Italy which now is REALLY little.

I have experienced China Town there a long time ago, thanks for reminding me, It was enjoyable. I have several friends in NYC but have not visited the area in a long time.
