If Thanksgiving had a Grinch, it would be me this year

Oddly enough, here in the UK there isn’t much interest in celebrating the American Pilgrims’ survival of religious persecution and New England winters, so giving thanks isn’t getting a lot of airtime here in Scotland this week. Last week as i gathered ingredients for our traditional American dry turkey shreds, I asked you lovely readers to remind me of things to be thankful for. I got some wonderful responses across social media. I’m particularly grateful for the many of you who reminded that giving thanks isn’t something for just one day a year. Other’s had more specific things they wanted to mention. A random sample:
