I have some beads in the usual multi-color. But my favorite… I got my BS degree late in life. When I graduated, an old friend gave me a little faceted piece. A friend of hers, a flight attendant, had gotten it in Brazil. It’s still rainbow striped but the colors are all slightly different from the usual, they’re warmer tones. It’s definitely fluorite, but unlike any I’ve ever seen.

No, it’s not really photo-worthy. After several years I found a little plain “finding” (I think that’s the word) that I glued on to make a pendant. It’s actually still packed with my moving stuff. The purple is more of a violet (slightly reddish), the white is creamy, and more of a dark teal for the third color.

That sounds very pretty, thank you for sharing that info. Mine is mostly light purple and it was also a gift from a friend years ago.
